The Twelve Days of Christmas - Day 12

On the twelfth day of Christmas, my mama put on me, green and red striped jammies...

Green and red striped jammies, Polka-dotted reindeer, Green striped Santa Claus, Red-and-white Fair Isle, red and ruffled tartan, Ralph Lauren Chaps plaid, candy canes all stripy, super-cozy snowflakes, fuzzy candy canes, sweet little Santas, and tiny boughs of holly.

We made it through all twelve days!!!! Obviously I was nowhere near as on top of this little nightmare, who's idea WAS this?! project as I was when we started it with Dresden, but I have been able to see this as a learning experience. I think it's much easier and better to take pajama pictures when the kiddo can stand and pose and be doing something other than just sitting (and playing with train tracks in like 8 out of 12 pictures!). SO I am recommitted to doing this again with her next year, and I PROMISE I will do a better job and make it more fun and interesting. The other hinderance was that I am using Alex's computer after the battery exploded in mine (well, more like inflated, it literally swelled up and was pushing up on the track pad for the mouse so that the mouse would not work), so I don't have collage software to do all the side-by-side comparisons. Also, now I have two kids, and a LOT less time on my hands for stuff like that! Still, I think next year will be better.

On the eleventh day of Christmas, my mama put on me, polka-dotted reindeer...

Again with the train tracks Auden!!! Her very favorite thing is to find a box full of something, and empty it of all its contents...and then move on to the next box full of something else. It keeps her entertained for a long time and it's so cute to watch her focus on her deconstructive task.

Power Rangers like to Photo Bomb, apparently! (ahem, Dresden...)

I'm busy, Mom.

The lovely Miss Ashley came to visit and brought treats for the kiddos, this little Minnie car for Auden and a Star Wars lenticular puzzle for Dresden. They were both very happy. Thank you for coming to visit, Ash!

Only two more days til Christmas! Dresden can hardly contain himself he is so excited!!! Santa is primed and ready for the big day.

The only pictures I got this day were when we were sitting down to breakfast. And I think it goes without saying these are obviously all from my iPhone. That's what it comes to when Alex's camera is way too fancy for me to operate and the pictures turn out terribly!

She is pulling up on EVERYTHING now, and standing for several seconds at a time before toppling over like a skinny little Christmas tree. It is adorable, amazing and nerve-wracking all in one! She will be crawling any day now, too. These are very exciting times!

These were some of my favorite Christmas pajamas, just because I LOVE plaid more than anything and I thought the plaid ruffle detail was so adorable. She could care less about the plaid ruffle detail, she was too interested in eating her brother's train tracks :-)
